The Supreme Court Confirms Saturday as the First Day of Ramadan - Royal Court Announces

Jeddah, Sha'ban 30, 1438, May 26, 2017, SPA -- The day of Saturday corresponding to May 27, 2017 will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, according to the statement of the Royal Court, quoting a report by the Supreme Court, confirming the beginning of the month following reception of various testimonials of seeing the crescent of the new month.

The Supreme Court has received, as usual, at various branches across the Kingdom, several assurances that the new crescent was eye-seen, as an evidence that Saturday will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

Subsequently, the Supreme Court avails itself of this opportunity to extend congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Second Crown Prince, Saudi government and people, Muslim expatriates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all Muslim, all over the world, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, praying to Allah the Almighty to help Muslims to fast the holy month of Ramadan and that He may accept their good deeds.
