Saudi Arabia did not see Ramadan moon on Thursday /

Supreme Court: There is no proof of seeing the crescent of Ramadan this evening/Thursday 1438/8/29 AH- 2017/05/25 CE

Riyadh, Sha'ban 29, 1438, May 25, 2017, SPA -- The Supreme Court issued this evening the following: Praise be to Allah alone. The court held a hearing today, 29th of Sha'ban, 1438 AH, according to the calendar of Umm Al-Qura, and the seeing of crescent of Ramadan has not been confirmed. The court will hold a hearing tomorrow evening to issue a decision about seeing of the crescent of Ramadan, and will announce it according to the followed procedures.

The Supreme Court Confirms Saturday as the First Day of Ramadan - Royal Court Announces

Jeddah, Sha'ban 30, 1438, May 26, 2017, SPA -- The day of Saturday corresponding to May 27, 2017 will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, according to the statement of the Royal Court, quoting a report by the Supreme Court, confirming the beginning of the month following reception of various testimonials of seeing the crescent of the new month.

The Supreme Court has received, as usual, at various branches across the Kingdom, several assurances that the new crescent was eye-seen, as an evidence that Saturday will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

Subsequently, the Supreme Court avails itself of this opportunity to extend congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Second Crown Prince, Saudi government and people, Muslim expatriates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all Muslim, all over the world, on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, praying to Allah the Almighty to help Muslims to fast the holy month of Ramadan and that He may accept their good deeds.

Supreme Court calls on Muslims to sight Shawwal Crescent

Riyadh, Ramadan 27, 1438, June 22, 2017, SPA -- The Supreme Court has called on all Muslims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to sight the crescent of Shawwal month, 1438 AH, on Saturday evening, 29th of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Supreme Court called in its announcement whoever sees the crescent of the month of Shawwal by the naked eyes or binoculars to report to the nearest court and register his testimony, or report to the nearest center to facilitate his reaching to a court.
